Welcome to Selby Golf Club. Founded in 1907, we are one of Yorkshire's oldest established clubs, set on raised land among the farmland of North Yorkshire.
Selby Golf Club is a beautiful par 71 course, built on sand-based, well drained land, making the course playable all year round. Its tree-lined fairways are well-bunkered with an abundance of gorse and natural hazards. We are the regular host of Scratch County matches and home of the famous Auchterlonie Spoon Scratch Open event held in April.
Celebrating our centenary year in 2007, the Club has a long tradition of welcoming guests to enjoy the course and other facilities.
Described as a true hidden gem, Selby Golf Club is a much understated course, accessible from all areas and provides a challenging but fair test of ability. The 18th par 5 is reputed to be one of the best finishing holes in the country.
Selby Golf Club offers a full complement of superb facilities. Fully equipped practice area, with large putting green, practice chipping greens and a large driving range which includes six covered bays. We are a first class society venue, offering a well-stocked and equally well-staffed bar and catering department.
Visit Selby Golf Club, one of the oldest Golf Clubs in Yorkshire with fine matching traditions and you will be assured of a warm welcome and a great day out.
